Here are some of the questions people frequently ask us 

Do I have to sign for a certain length of time?

No. We use the Self Storage Association of Australasia standard storage agreement. It provides for a start and end date which is entered however the agreement provides for the end date to extended automatically with 14 days notice required of departure. We have a minimum period of 4 weeks otherwise you can stay as long as you need. We have a number of unit holders who have been with us for over five years!

How much notice do I have to give before I move out?

Please let us know 14 days ahead of your planned move.

Are the contents of my unit covered by insurance?

No, not unless you make arrangements to take out insurance. Check if your household contents insurance covers your goods in storage or if your policy can be endorsed to cover your stored goods. Midland Insurance Brokers specialises in self storage insurance so they are an option. However you acquire storage insurance, we think it is a good idea: if it's worth storing, it's worth insuring.

Do I have to leave a security deposit?

No, we don't collect a deposit.

What are my payment options?

Payment is fortnightly in advance. We can set up fortnightly automatic electronic funds transfer (EFT) payments or credit/debit card payments so you don't have to remember to send us a cheque or call to pay us. Future payments can be stopped the same day as you let us know you are leaving the units.

How much storage space will I need?

This really depends on what you plan to put into your storage unit. To assist you with this process, we have provided a guide in terms of household sizes elsewhere on this web site or alternatively you can ring and an expert will assist you.

Is the storage space I need available?

You can check what is available by clicking on our Store for Sure button. A green coloured tab indicates a number of units of a particular size are available, an orange just one or two available and red – all taken.  Remember the storage unit occupancy on the day you look could be different when you need it.   Telephone if you can’t find what you want – we usually find a solution.
