No. We use the Self Storage Association of Australasia standard storage agreement. It provides for a start and end date which is entered however the agreement provides for the end date to extended automatically with 14 days notice required of departure. We have a minimum period of 28 days otherwise you can stay as long as you need. We have a number of unit holders who have been with us for over five years!

No, not unless you make arrangements to take out insurance. Check if your household contents insurance covers your goods in storage or if your policy can be endorsed to cover your stored goods. Midland Insurance Brokers specialises in self storage insurance so they are an option. However you acquire storage insurance, we think it is a good idea: if it’s worth storing, it’s worth insuring.

No we don’t collect a lump sum security deposit or bond.

Payment is typically fortnightly in advance although weekly or calendar monthly can be chosen to suit your personal payment preferences. We can set up regular direct debits from your account or credit card or you can initiate electronic funds transfers from your account – periodic payments from your account should not cost extra if set up on- line.

This depends on the volume of goods you wish to store, how high you can safely stack goods and how much space you wish to leave yourself for accessing your goods during the storage period. For example if you have a 6m or 9m unit and you plan to store for an extended period you might leave a narrow corridor along one side of the unit to allow access to goods stored deep in the unit. Click button Storage Options and under that you will see “Recommended Storage Sizes” for guidance on the storage unit sizes needed in relation to goods to be stored.
